Approval of this STA will allow MassDOT to immediately operate the Automatic Vehicle Identification; Intelligent Transportation System, as a component of All Electronic Toll Collection while we wait for the permanent license to be processed.

Please explain the purpose of operation:
Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) System Testing . Purpose of the operation is to test the Automatic Vehicle Identification (AVI) System for proper operation and for accuracy in identifying and matching toll road users to user accounts.
