Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Project planners thought they were sufficiently licensed. to perform their testing as scheduled. FCC coordinator at Raytheon informed them they could not operate under the current experimental license (KI2XGC) for these frequencies, which has a designation of NON. An STA is requested with the correct emission designator so that experimental testing can begin ASAP.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Perform experiments using a 76.5 GHz FMCW radar for short range applications, typically less than 100 m, with a fixed, relocatable system looking at low grazing angles along ground level. Perform experiments using a 76.5 GHz FMCW radar for short range applications, typically less than 100 m. Experiments are performed with a fixed, relocatable system looking at low grazing angles (i.e. looking along ground level).
