Description of Experimentation
Rajant Corporation (“Rajant”) respectfully requests issuance of a Special Temporary Authority
(STA) experimental license using the equipment and operating parameters set forth in
Application File No. 1087-EX-ST-2015.
Rajant seeks to test its products in the 3650-3670 MHz band in National Football League (NFL)
stadiums throughout the United States during the 2015-2016 football season, consistent with the
duration and operating terms of any STA granted. Rajant is already testing this equipment under
an approved STA at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey (Call number WI9XPT).
Rajant wants to test the equipment in the remaining NFL stadiums to determine the optimum
configuration of base stations and overall operation of its 3.6 GHz network, consistent with the
requirements of its Part 90 license in this band.
Currently, Rajant plans to test the equipment in the stadiums listed in this STA application on
non-game days.
