Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is required to perform 6GHz building attenuation measurements in support of a pending FCC rule making on indoor 6GHz unlicensed devices. Expedited processing is needed to meet the project time line.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  An STA is required to perform 6GHz building attenuation measurements in support of a pending FCC rule making on indoor 6GHz unlicensed devices. The experiment involves transmitting CW signals of power +10dBm eirp at 6,000.25, 6,5000.5 and 7,005.0 MHz from an Omni or horn antenna in 1 of three Qualcomm building located (32°54 11.39 N 117°1135.29 W, 32°53 41.25 N 117°1145.46 W, 32°53 52.06 N,117°1146.85 W) located in Sorrento Valley, San Diego California. and measuring the signal strengths emitted from the building under test from another location. The above frequencies have been selected based upon an extensive search of the ULS database to show that no other service is operating on these frequencies removing the risk of any interference to any operating radio service, with 30km of the locations above. It should be noted that the indoor eirp is expected to be attenuated by 5-30dB by the building materials.
