Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Plantronics plans to demonstrate its wireless headset at the following locations and dates: June 9-11, 2003 at the Scotts Valley Hilton Hotel, 6001 La Madrona Drive, Scotts Valley, CA 95006; June 17, 2003, at the Altman Building, 135 West 18th Street New York, NY 10011,and June 19-20, 2003 at the New York Stock Exchange, Inc. 11 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005 To demonstrate a wireless headset (the 'Boxter')using DECT technology designed for operation in Europe. It operates on 1 MHz channels between 1880 and 1900 MHz with an ERP of 7 milliwatts. The emission type is F1E. The transmission distance between the Boxter and telephne equipment is limited to 15 meters. It is anticipated that only one unit at a time will be operated. The purpose is to demonstrate the features of the Boxter system, whih is intended for eventual sale in the U.S. on under Part 15 on frequencies permitted for that purpose
