Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Parallel Wireless seeks to perform a demonstration of a prototype network system cellular base station in the Band 14 public safety LTE band. Parallel Wireless’s existing Special Temporary Authorities do not cover the area and dates of the demonstration. The demonstration will take place at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, during the specified dates. The IWCE is an annual convention for two-way radio manufacturers to showcase their latest products and trends in the industry. Specifically, the STA is requested for a demonstration in conjunction with Sonim Technologies, Inc. and Mutualink, Inc. Additionally, Cisco Systems, Inc. may supply Parallel Wireless with a Unified Computing System for the Parallel Wireless exhibitor booth. Although Parallel Wireless will be working in conjunction with Cisco, Cisco will be obtaining a separate STA for any demonstrations taking place at the Cisco exhibitor booth.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The objective of this demonstration is to showcase the network capabilities in the Band 14 public safety LTE band. The demonstration will take place at the International Wireless Communications Expo (IWCE), being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV, during the specified dates. IWCE is an annual exhibition for public safety communications that involves public safety agencies, service providers, and equipment vendors. The demonstration will utilize two CWS-1XX and one CWS-2XX from Parallel Wireless that provide Band 14 LTE coverage. Using handsets from Sonim Technologies Inc., we will demonstrate voice and data over this Band 14 network. All of the CWS will be fixed to a location inside the event facilities in Las Vegas, NV. There is no mission-critical aspect to this particular demonstration. Further detailed information regarding the equipment located at the Parallel Wireless exhibitor booth may be found in the attached document.
