Mr. John Kennedy,

Please allow me to provide some additional information to clarify our
application.

PacketHop intends to utilize up to forty pieces of transmitting equipment. All
of these units shall operate at up to 0.8 watts peak ERP and shall be used in
close proximity to one another so as to form one or more mesh networks. Up to
six of these units may serve as hubs. These hubs shall either be mounted on a
vehicle, a tripod or mast of under six meters in total height (above ground
level), or possibly placed on a rooftop of an existing structure of up to
fifteen meters (above ground level), e.g., a three to four story building. All
of the remaining units shall be handheld or mounted on or within a vehicle.

There will be no aeronautical mobile use associated with this application. All
operating units will be ground-based.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Michael Reed
