Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is necessary to perform experiments and demonstrations for a short period of time for U.S. Government (DARPA) contract no. FA-8750-18-C-2058. Contract POC John Weinfield, 571-218-4435.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Consistent with US GOV (DARPA) contract No. FA-8750-18-C-2058, this effort is to develop a system conceptual design, validate by using modeling and simulation (M&S) tools, and conduct component brass-board demonstrations to develop an integrated communications system capable of communicating among and between ground units, from ground units to airborne units, and from ground units to beyond line of sight (BLOS) units using satellite communications or other BLOS methods. This program will develop a system conceptual design, modeling and simulation (M&S) validation, and component brass-board demonstrations. The result of this program will be a qualified radio design with experiential support ready for development and user trial (DUT) activity.
