Application for Experimental License

This application by Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC) for an
experimental license is for the purpose of conducting experiments to test and demonstrate
the concept of deployable WNW and SRW network architecture capabilities of Northrop
Grumman’s Freedom 350 and Freedom 450 Wideband Networking Waveform (WNW)
and Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW). The experiments will utilize a Northrop Grumman
test and demonstration network that resembles an anticipated architecture of Department
of Defense networks used for Command and Control (C2) operations.

The requirement is to use the 430-450 MHz and 902-928 MHz bands as
specified in the application. The technical specifications are identical to those
used earlier under Special Temporary Authority (STA) WK9XRW, FCC File
No. 1218-EX-ST-2017.
