Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
An STA is required for University Cubesat Mission: OpenOrbiter1 Data will be sent using the LinkStar-STX3 simplex radio and the LinkStar duplex radio system. These units are based on the Globalstar STX3 simplex radio and Globalstar GSP-1720 respectively. Data will be transmitted from the STX3 and GSP-1720 to the Globalstar satellite network. Commands to control the radio and satellite will be transmitted from the ground through the Globalstar satellite network through the GSP-1720. The LinkStar-STX3 can be turned off from the ground via the GSP-1720. The GSP-1720 can only be turned off once the LinkStar-STX3 is turned off; the GSP-1720 cannot be turned off from the ground as long as the LinkStar-STX3 is active. The mission duration is 3-6 months.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The purpose of the operation is to transmit packet data from the OpenOrbiter1 mission. This is an Engineering test mission for OPEN CubeSat design. The satellite will be deployed via Nanoracks/ISS.
