Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Motorola Solutions, Inc. proposes to conduct limited tests and demonstrations of prototype mobile subscriber units at military installations in connection with a Federal Government contract solicitation. The test period is expected to be limited to a period of 6 months or less.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To conduct limited tests and demonstrations of prototype mobile subscriber units at military installations Motorola Solutions, Inc. proposes to conduct limited tests and demonstrations of prototype mobile subscriber units at military installations in connection with a Federal Government contract solicitation so that it may obtain feedback needed to enhance company efforts to design, develop and improve its equipment to meet the communications needs of potential users.
