Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
To demonstrate for a 2 month period from September 28th to November 28th, 2009 air to ground technology. We will be demonstrating this technology for NASA.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  We will be utilizing millimeter wave spectrum to establish broadband TCP/IP connections between the ground station and a small airborne plane or helicopter. Airborne transmission will be activated within 3 nautical miles radius over the ground station between 10,000 and 18,000 feet MSL. The aircraft/helicopter will hover over the ground station.
