Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
The STA is required for the purpose of meeting the government defined testing window on March 23rd-24th of 2015. This test is the Factory Acceptance Test for a buoy that Maritime Applied Physics Corporation has developed under contract #N00178-14-C-1010 with Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. EXTENSION REQUEST: Test dates have been requested by Government to be moved.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Factory Acceptance Test for a buoy that Maritime Applied Physics Corporation has developed. Maritime Applied Physics will demonstrate to the government that the buoy meets the requirements set forth in the agreed upon contract. The testing will take place over two days where the buoy will be transmitting data back to a ground control station located near the Baltimore harbor on two different frequencies (2.4GHz - 5.8GHz) at power levels between 600mW and 2W.
