STA Application
1851-EX-ST-2019
Frequency Coordination Exhibit
Rob Chant Automobile Race
October 30, 2019

This application proposes the use of duplex and simplex land mobile channels for
testing a terrestrial only, two-way operational voice communications system during an
automobile sporting event for a single racing team (Mercedes Benz) in Los Angeles, CA.
An engineering analysis has shown that there should be no interference to any licensed
user of any of the land mobile band specified whatsoever. Should any FCC-licensed
stations report interference during the proposed operations, operation on that channel will
immediately cease and not resume unless and until the interference complaint is resolved.

Land mobile channels to be utilized during the race event have been investigated
using the Commission’s database and will be monitored on-site. Technical coordination
staff will be on site during the event and channel monitoring and on-site frequency
coordination will insure against any interference. Given the location of these events, it is
anticipated that no interference will be caused to any land mobile operations.

Communications on site should be directed to Mr. Robert Chant, (+44 7566
292719) who will be the stop buzzer contact. Other communications can be directed to
the office of counsel for MRTC Motorsports Communications as follows:
