Message:

I have amended the application to reduce the number of total units from 65 to 50. Initially, the
communications system under test was anticipated to involve up to 20 portable units for each of two race
teams, but I anticipated adding a third race team to the test at the Daytona Speedway. Thus, to permit
testing of this system with potentially the maximum number of portables associated with the system for
each race team, together with the requisite base and telemetry units, I specified a total of 65 transmitters.

I have since amended this application to specify the addition of a third race team, the Aston Martin team,
which is participating in the Daytona test and race events (but not the Sebring test location). However, I
have ascertained that there will be in use at any one time fewer than 20 portables per team. It is now
possible to specify a maximum of 50 transmitters in the aggregate, hence the amendment.
