Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Experimental license exists for testing US Government-sponsored prototype at its development facility (MIT Lincoln Laboratory). A need has emerged to test the prototype at another location on a short term basis, necessitating the STA. The existing license is for call sign WH2XVW. File number for first filing of license was 0315-EX-PL-2015, and license was modified/extended with filing 0156-EX-CM-2017.
