SUPPORTING STATEMENT

M/A-Com, Inc. (M/A-Com) is currently evaluating technologies on
behalf of the New York City Police Department (NYPD) under Special
Temporary Authorization WD9XGY. This Special Temporary Authorization
will expire on October 16, 2008.

However, M/A-Com and the NYPD have determined a need to
continue their evaluations beyond the expiration date of WE9XYG. In
accordance with the guidelines established by the Office of Engineering and
Technology, M/A-Com is therefore filing an application for an experimental
license to continue testing and evaluation at this location. The technical
parameters of this application (File Number 0319-EX-PL-2008) are identical
to those of WD9XGY.
