Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
M-A-Com, Inc. (M/A-Com) holds an expermental license, WC2XZK, covering operations in all of the Land Mobile frequencies where M/A-Com provides equipment. Currently this license is for operation at two sites in Lynchburg, VA, two sites in Lowell, MA, and one site in Harrisburg, PA. However, in this case the radio equipment requires evaluation at a third location in the Lynchburg, VA area. M/A-Com respectfully requests the Commission grant a Special Temporary Authorization for evaluation of radio equipment at the location designated for a period of six (6) months from the date of the authorization.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  M/A-Com has built and is in the process of stage testing four (4) 500MHz simulcast systems and one stand-alone system for York County, PA emergency communications. York County is authorized by waiver to operate on television channel 19, the frequencies being applied for in this application. This STA will allow for proof of concept for the York County system.
