The New York City Police Department (NYPD) is currently evaluating technologies which are more spectrally efficient and meet the requirements of FCC 07—39, the Third Report and Order of WT Docket 99—87 —— Promotion of Spectrum Efficient Technologies on Certain Part 90 Frequencies. To accomplish this evaluation, NYPD would like to reference FCC Callsign WIF560, utilizing Location No. 4 with the transmit frequency 470.8875MHz and receive frequency 473.8875MHz, on which the Pilot Radio System would operate.
