              division of AMP Incorporated. As of October 1, 1997, M/A—COM, Inc. began operating
              as M/A—COM, a division of AMP Incorporated. This step is part of AMP‘s global
              structure optimization process.

              There were no changes in control of M/A—COM. M/A—COM will continue to provide the
              highest quality level of products and services as before. M/A—COM, division of AMP
              Incorporated, honors all existing commercial and legal agreements. Your M/A—COM
              contacts and representatives remain unchanged. M/A—COM‘s facilities, addresses,
              *telephones and faxes, etc. are also unaffected by this action.
