Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Applicant intends to participate in a short-term product demonstration/evaluation in an operational environment conducted at Yuma Proving grounds. The demonstration/evaluation is in connection with the United States Army’s Project Convergence demonstration events.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Applicant intends to operate an unmanned aircraft, with the identified equipment providing command and control (C2) and surveillance capabilities. Operations are coordinated by the United States Army to conduct a product evaluation of the UAS platform. Transmitting equipment are air vehicle radio and corresponding ground control station radio.
