Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Liteye Systems, Inc. use of Pinon Canyon is to conduct Operator and Field Service Representative (FSR) training and system testing on their Counter small Unmanned Ariel System (C-sUAS) Anti UAV Defense System (AUDS).

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  BACKGROUND: AFLCMC/HBU is supporting multiple C-sUAS Urgent Operational Needs (UONs). AUDS is one of the capabilities procured in support of these efforts. Interim Contractor Support (ICS) will be accomplished with FSRs. Due to the strategic location of Pinon Canyon, the cost to conduct system testing and train the USAF Operators and FSRs may be reduced. PURPOSE: AFLCMC/HBUC supports Liteye Systems, Inc.’s request to utilize Pinon Canyon for the purpose of system testing and training Operators and FSRs on the AUDS system.
