By the instant application (“Application”), Leidos, Inc. (“Leidos”) requests that the Commission grant Special Temporary Authority (“STA”) to permit Leidos to operate the facilities specified in the instant application.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  This STA will support Leidos’ integration, testing and fielding of the L3 VORTEX system in multiple aircraft that will directly support the warfighter in combat zones worldwide.
