Experimentation Description: Frequencies are required to operationally check and
calibrate a radio direction finding and collection system. Grant of the License would
provide the ability to transmit test signals in the authorized bands to verify the efficiency of
our signal detection and location systems. Handheld portable radios will only be used for
this test and not for any other purpose. No fixed base stations will be used. Testing of the
direction finding and collection system will be less than 4 hours a day and less than 10 times a
year.
