Experimental License WC2XKT Modification Application 0035-EX-ML-2004 Confirmation Number EL14610 Per the request of the Commission’s staff, the following is an explanation of the modification requested in this Experimental Authorization. This Experimental Authorization was originally sought in order to permit a course of product quality assurance initiatives concerning the entire product line of Kenwood land mobile transceivers. The company’s Suwannee, Georgia headquarters facility wishes to test its products prior to marketing. The original authorization specified the frequency bands and emission modes used at the time. This modification would expand the range of emission types permitted, which correspond to newer products of Kenwood USA Corporation (Communications Division). These devices will continue to be operated at the address specified and in the immediate vicinity of the Kenwood facility. They will be operated for testing purposes related only to quality control, and all operation will continue to be by Kenwood employees.
