Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
MIL-STD-188-125 Volume 1 and 2 require a Continuous Wave Immersion (CWI) test. CWI testing requires illuminating a test object with RF energy over a frequency range from l00kHz to 1GHz. The attached supplemental information paper describes the process in much more detail. We plan to radiate with a 100 W power amplifier and an 8dBi (max) antenna system. Therefore our peak power and Effective Radiated Power will be substantial enough the we believe that an STA is necessary.The proposed CWI testing will be at the AFEMPS and VEMPS facilities at White Sands Missile Range (WSMR).

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Perform RF field mapping experiments in an outdoor environment to characterize the uniformity and levels of the EM fields emitted from our CWI antenna system. Please see attached supplemental information paper for details.
