Your e-mail of August 1, 2013, asks that we "fill in the ERP" for Iridium's pending application.
The pending application is comparable to one that OET granted previously (see File No.
0377-EX-ST-2013, Call Sign WG9XGI). In that application, and in a subsequent email exchange related
to it, we noted that the Iridium space stations already are licensed and will operate in accordance with
licensed parameters. Accordingly, the only authority sought there, as well as here, is to add a picosat as
a point of communication for experimental STA purposes. For that reason, we did not provide an ERP
the last time or this time. OET found our explanation as to why no ERP was provided to be acceptable in
connection with the prior application, and so we believe that no ERP information should be required for
the current application, either.
