On behalf of Intelsat LLC, electronically transmitted herewith is an application seeking to
renew a special temporary authority ("STA") issued under File No. 0597-EX-ST-2004.
That STA was granted effective November 1, 2004, and is scheduled to expire on
December 2, 2004. Intelsat requires renewal of its STA so that it may complete the
program of experimentation as described in the original STA request. The narrative
associated with that original request is incorporated herein by reference, as permitted
under Section 1.923(b) of the Commission's rules, 47 C.F.R. § 1.923(b)(2003). Intelsat
is eligible for the requested renewal because it has filed an application for regular
authority to replace the STA, in accordance with Section 5.61(b) of the Commission's
rules. 47 C.F.R. § 5.61(b)(2003).
