Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
We have scheduled testing at the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI ) along with government participants. This is for the Thunderstorm 19-4 “Limited Demo and Experimentation for sense Through the wall Tech” for the Army Research Lab and Penn State (POC for reference: [email protected]). We need FCC approval for ISM band/Part 15 approval, Special Temporary Authority (STA) as mentioned by the POCs. This serves to rapid prototype for the DoD Rapid Reaction Technology Office (RRTO)

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Our radar will be tested in the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute along with other companies and government officials in a few scenarios. The radar will be used to detect the presence of people through the walls and nearby the vicinity. This radar will be from commercial off the shelf and assembled together. Our radar has a working frequency between 8-9GHz, transmitter power of 10mW, and antenna gain of 9dB from Sept 10-20, 2019 Location: Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute (MFRI located in 38°58’59”N, 76°55’44”W)
