Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Intel will be demonstrating their WiMax chip set capabilities at WiMax World at the Boston Trade Center. Part of the demonstration will require over-the-air tests. The chipsets operate in the 3.4-3.7 GHz band used in the EU and Asia. These devices will only be sold for use outside the United States, but for purposes of demonstrating compliance to the 802.16 standard and to product specifications, over-the-air tests are required.

Intel will be positioning its technology leadership by providing a WiMAX demonstration at the WiMax World. This demonstration will be using the newly introduced ProWireless 5116 mac/phy silicon device being used by both Redline Communication and Alvarion with an interactive gaming experience. Demonstration will be conducted indoors only with 100 meter of unit separation.
