Date: March 30, 2009

Subject: FCC File No. 0137-EX-ST-2009
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

Hello Mr Ghaffari,

Intel (and I) are aware that FCC requires more lead time, however, in this case I hope you will be able to
make an exception. The licensee from whom Intel requested the letter was late in providing it so the
submission was delayed by the same amount. The event is a trade show for health care products so it is
not possible to change the operating dates. Intel does have permission to use the frequencies they wish
to operate on, all communications will take place indoors in the convention center, and operating powers
are at a maximum of only 31 mW e.i.r.p.

Please let me know if you need any further information or documentation to allow you to grant this STA in
time for the event.

best regards
