Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Intel will be demonstrating RF transmitters operating in the 2380-2400 MHz band . This is a licensed amateur band in the US and will require an experimental license or STA prior to operation.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  Demonstrating usage models for the newly adopted WiMAX, 802.16e (Mobile WiMAX) standard to the industry developers at Intel’s spring IDF. Demonstrate usage models for the newly adopted WiMAX, 802.16e (Mobile WiMAX) standard to the industry developers at Intel’s spring IDF. This will be done indoors only during a keynote address by Intel Executives and in the Intel demonstration booth, both using minimal power. Total path distance is < 100meters
