Message:

Mr. Ghaffari,
The extension into the DoD administered 225-399.9 MHz band is needed to obtain the fine resolution of a
synthetic aperture radar (SAR) of better than 1m. For a SAR system the resolution is inversely
proportional to the bandwidth and the 200 MHz of bandwidth enables real range resolution under 1m.
This enables critical DoD missions for foilage penetration, ground penetration, and through wall imaging.
The system is designed for minimal power transmission and pointed at the ground to minimize
interference.

ImSAR has several contracts in the works that involve UHF. A key contact that can verify the military's
interest in this technology is Capt. Jose Gonzales of the Air Force, (937) 255-5668 x 4034,
Jose.Gonzalez@WPAFB.AF.MIL.

ImSAR has worked with the local frequency managers for Hill Air Force Base and Dugway Proving
grounds and can coordinate possible interference issues with the relevant frequency managers. We have
done this in the past and and are happy to do it again to ensure that we do not have have adverse
interference. I can provide you those contacts if needed.

Regards,
Adam Robertson
