The application asked why a STA was necessary. The guidelines for a STA explain that "STAs are
intended for experiments that will last no longer than six months." I was just restating the guideline
to show that our current project meets the condition, not suggesting that we were going to operate for 6
months. It would have been more clear to have simply stated that the experiment is short term and
beginning in the near future, which is why we are requesting the STA.
