Manner, Vice President, Regulatory Affairs of Mobile Satellite Ventures LP ("MSV"), Richard O. Evans of MSV, and Bruce Jacobs and David Konczal of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, counsel to MSV, met with Ira Keltz and Charles Iseman (via telephone), both of the Office of Engineering and Technology ("OET"), and Richard Engelman and Robert Nelson, both of the International Bureau, to discuss MSV‘s concerns with the harmful interference that will likely result to L band operators from experimental operations with the uncoordinated Inmarsat 4F2 satellite. MSV urged OET to either deny or rescind authority for these experimental operations or to impose stringent conditions intended to ensure that L band operators will not suffer harmful interference.
