Message:

We are a research group in Networking and Mobility Lab in Hewlett Packard Labs. Our relevant project
explores a way to extend the capacity and the coverage of enterprise wireless networks in a feasible way.
Considering the large coverage of LTE access network compared to Wi-Fi and cheaper access to Wi-Fi,
we have adopted a hybrid architecture where our access network supports both LTE and Wi-Fi. Along
this context, we are proposing a seamless handover between LTE and Wi-Fi. To evaluate the feasibility
of our proposed approach, we have been building a working prototype system with small cell eNodeB
(ip.access nanoLTE E40) and Wi-Fi AP (Aruba AP225). We have tested our prototype system in our lab
with a previous license (file number: 0150-EX-PL-2015, call sign: WH2XSD). Now, to understand the
requirements from our customers and incorporate such requirements to our research project, we are
planning to do a live demo in a customer event of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. For preparation for such
demo, we are requesting an experimental spectrum.
