IB/SD has reviewed the up to date information of the subject request and has the following comments:

The API filing indicates that your operations are under Space Research Service (class of station EH).

We note that following:
Frequency band 2025‐2110 MHz band is allocated to SPACE RESEARCH (Earth‐to‐space) on a primary basis.
Frequency band 2200‐2290 MHz band is allocated to SPACE RESEARCH (space‐to‐Earth) on a primary basis.

Because the satellite operations are under the appropriate frequency allocation for space research, applicant cannot
operate under RR 4.4; therefore, applicant will need to remove the “Y” in the RR 4.4 box for the bands in the above
frequency range. If the applicant wish to discuss this issue further, please let us know and will setup a call with the
satellite front office.

FORM 442:

We note that for the uplink bands there is a radius of operation list for 800 km. Are there plans to have a transportable
earth station? Please explain.

GLOBAL STAR link:
For the G.S. frequency range, 1615‐1618.725 MHz band, for this type of operation, we authorized 1615‐1617.5 MHz;
applicant please adjust the frequency range to 1615‐1617.5 MHz;
We also note that the API filing has the G.S. frequency range of 1616 – 1618.725 MHz; if the lower part is correct then
leave as is but please correct the upper frequency to 1617.5 MHz and adjust Form 442 as appropriate.

Is the antenna pattern representation of G.S. (see attachment) for both 1616 MHz and the 2490 MHz?

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced application.
Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of May 2, 2017 may result in application dismissal pursuant
to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
