FCC License WQKW291 renewal:

To Whome it may concern at the FCC:

Honeywell is currently developing a Non-Fed Ground Based Augmentation System (GBAS) and has been granted
FAA Non-Fed System Design Approval .

To properly evaluate GBAS ground and airborne system performance, Honeywell would like to extend the current
FCC license (WQKW291) to broadcast test signals from our development facility in Olathe, KS. To support this
ground station development program and airborne receiver programs we are broadcasting a RTCA DO-246
compliant signal in space at maximum of 70 Watts ERP in the VHF aeronautical navigation band 112-118 MHZ.
The modulation D8PSK and the emissions designator is 14K0G7D and the antenna polarization is horizontal.

In addition to supporting the current CAT-I GBAS Honeywell has an active CAT-III GBAS development program
with the FAA. This license will also support that development program.

We anticipate the development program to run through 2015 with possible extensions.
