0468‐EX‐PL‐2015 ‐ Exhibit Globalstar Experimental License request

                                               EXHIBIT

This request for an Experimental License is related to the following two experimental license
requests:
   1. Experimental License request (FCC File No. 0301-EX-PL-2015)
          a. Filed by Pumpkin, Inc. (Pumpkin)
   2. STA request (FCC File No. 0113-EX-ST-2015)
          a. Filed by Near Space Launch, Inc. (NSL).

In the above-mentioned requests, Pumpkin and NSL each sought authority to operate
Globalstar simplex and duplex transmitter modules that will be included in the 6u CubeSat
called SUPERNOVA-BETA, which will be launched into low-earth orbit and is manifested on
the ORS-4 mission. The modules will transmit data collected by sensors on board the CubeSat
to the companies' respective operations centers by means of the Globalstar system constellation
and the associated ground infrastructure. In this request, Globalstar seeks authority, in
connection with this experiment, to receive transmissions from licensed Globalstar simplex
and duplex modules and relay the data to the terrestrial CubeSat operations centers.

For this request, the only change from Globalstar’s licensed operations is that the Globalstar
constellation will be receiving transmissions from a space station rather than the usual earth
terminal. Globalstar’s License does not cover space-to-space operation. The FCC filing by
Pumpkin indicates that the expected orbital lifetime of the SuperNova-Beta CubeSat is
expected to have a mission duration of 1-2 years. Globalstar has been advised that Pumpkin
and NLS will notify the FCC of the dates of actual operation, once those have been established.
