Yes, it is true that 386 is a duplicate of 385. I apologize for not providing an exhibit with the following
explanation when I created 0386-EX-ST-2019.

The problem with STA Application File 0385-EX-ST-2019 was that I did not copy down the Confirmation
number of the application when that web page was presented to me, and I knew of no way to find out,
later on, what the confirmation number was.

Without the confirmation number, it is impossible to pay for the application, add exhibits, add
correspondence (such as "please withdraw the application"), etc. Therefore, I created a
duplicate of the application -- this time it was 0386-EX-ST-2019 -- but this time I recorded the
confirmation number.

At this point,. the application fee for 0386 has been paid.

Is it possible to cancel 0385 and process 0386-EX-ST-2019?

We realize that duplicate applications are wasteful of the Agency's time and we earnestly seek to avoid
such situations. In the future, if I again make the mistake of recording the confirmation number, is there a
way to retrieve the confirmation number for an application?
