I understand; thank you for the explanation in your enclosed e-mail message.

In keeping with the circumstances you described, we would like to have the STA active
for the trade show from Sunday, June 2 through Friday, June 7, 2002.

We will apply for another STA for customer-premise demonstrations when they have
been scheduled. So we can efficiently coordinate our first demonstration, can you tell
me how long we should allow for that STA to be granted?

Best regards,
John Stover, President
Gilland Electronics Inc.

Subject: Request for Info - STA File # 0060-EX-ST-2002 [Reference
Number: 1702]

You indicated in your response to my last request for info that
you have not established, nor intend to establish, any monetary
relations with potential customers in relation to your request
for this STA. We generally interpret a limited market study as
an experiment where the licensee places equipment into customers
hands and charges for a service, thereby determining what the
potential market will pay for the service. If you are not doing
this, then I need not forward your request to management for
review.

You also mention wishing to demonstrate your equipment to
potential customers who show interest at the trade show. We
cannot grant open-ended authorizations. We will consider this
application to be for the trade show only. Please give the dates
you will need for operation at the Seattle trade show location.
Any customer requests for demos resulting from the trade show may
be requested in a future STA, once firmer dates and locations can
be determined. You may submit requests for as many locations
that you can supply location and date information in that STA, as
long as they all fit in a six-month window.
