The FCC's International Bureau (IB) has reviewed the subject request and has the following comments:

We found two satellite operators using the 5100-5250 MHz band for FSS satellite operations. Also,
please note that the 5100-5250 MHz band is not allocated for radiolocation service.

Prior to the Grant being issue, applicant must coordinate with Globalstar. Below is the Globalstar contact
person.

For operations in the 5850-5900 MHz band, FCC has a number of satellite licenses operator in this part
of the band and will need to assess the potential interference impact to the satellite operations.

Applicant please provide the following information:

1) the antenna pattern or representative antenna pattern in 2-dimensional front-to-back ratio (F/B) in the
horizontal and vertical (in Polar Coordinates).
2) radar max duty cycle and typical duty cycle (or pulse widths and pulse repetition frequency).
3) peak power
4) search volume
5) dwell time between pulses
6) is the radar capable of sector blanking?
7) can operations be restricted to avoid certain directions?


The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of July 07, 2017 may result in
application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
