Form 442 – Question #6 – Description of Research Project WC2XYF File # 0070-EX-ML-2009 Confirmation # EL418555 The research to be conducted will be exactly the same as the ongoing research being performed relative to Government Contract DAAD19-01-2-0011, Project A-663, described in the existing license and previous modification application. Modification to existing license was granted May 17, 2007 and will expire on April 1, 2009. The previous license modification was issued for the express purpose of conducting experimental operations for the U.S. Army contract as above referenced. We wish to modify the license to allow the same research to be conducted for private industry IN ADDITION to the government testing that is ongoing. It is expected that the Government Project will continue at least 24 months from present. We wish to contract with a company that is exploring new communication technologies in order to introduce them to the marketplace. The experiments we would conduct are necessary to develop and refine communication configurations and algorithms in order to provide useful services for consumer’s communications needs. Timing is important for technology development and budget considerations. The same equipment, frequencies, bandwidths and powers would be used in this research as is being used for performance of the experimental operations for the U.S. Army. We would also like to offer our research services to additional sponsors, in addition to the company we are currently wishing to contract with.
