Subject: Request for Info - STA File #0447-EX-ST-2015
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Message:

1. Why did you file this as an STA when it appears that this will be ongoing testing which should have
been filed on Form 442?
2. The April 27 request date is impossible to meet. This has to be coordinated with NTIA, who has to
send it out to all federal agencies.
3. The calculations for L2 show the repeated signal power to be -137.93 dBm/24 MHz EIRP which
exceeds the limit of -140 dBm/24 MHz EIRP. My calculations show that for the L2 radiated power to meet
the guidelines for 100 feet, it should be 24 pW EIRP.
4. Your values for radiated power are expressed in EIRP. The Experimental Licensing System expresses
radiated power in ERP. The values for L1 and L2 should be 25 pW ERP and 15 pW ERP, respectively.

The items indicated above must be submitted before processing can continue on the above referenced
application. Failure to provide the requested information within 30 days of April 22, 2015 may result in
application dismissal pursuant to Section 5.67 and forfeiture of the filing fee pursuant to Section 1.1108.
