                                                                                 Form 442 Exhibit 1
                                                                         File No. 0076-EX-CM-2018

                             Exhibit 1: Description of Modification

On April 11, 2018, GOJO Industries, Inc. (“GOJO”) submitted an application to modify its

experimental authorization call sign WJ2XHZ. This application (1) requests additional test sites

in Wichita, KS, Tampa, FL, and Atlanta, GA; and (2) increases the total quantity of requested

devices to in order to accommodate these additional locations. GOJO respectfully requests

approval of these locations in order to obtain additional data relevant to the potential use of

smart hand hygiene applications in various environments.

As set forth in greater detail in GOJO’s previous filings for this license, its experiments

are highly unlikely to result in harmful interference. This is because devices will operate in 2.4

GHz band spectrum designated for unlicensed and ISM operations, will operate at very low

transmit power, and will conform with 47 C.F.R. § 15.247 as well as industry standards for Wi-Fi

and Bluetooth operations, including the applicable politeness protocols in those standards. In

addition, as with the locations already authorized under GOJO’s existing license, experiments at

the new locations will take place exclusively in indoor environments. Thus, signal attenuation

as a result of distance and building materials will reduce even further the likelihood of harmful

interference.

Operations at the Wichita, KS and Tampa, FL locations will take place exclusively at

existing customers’ facilities. The Wichita location contains multiple manufacturing and

administrative buildings, and GOJO has requested a sufficient quantity of devices to

accommodate simultaneous deployments at these facilities. However, GOJO’s experiments will

not exceed more than 50 total devices at this location.

                                                                             GOJO Industries, Inc.
                                                                               Form 442 Exhibit 1
                                                                       File No. 0076-EX-CM-2018

At the Atlanta location, GOJO will partner with the Atlanta Airlines Terminal Corporation

to obtain data relevant to hand hygiene applications at restrooms in Hartsfield–Jackson

International Airport. As with the previously approved transportation location, devices used for

these experiments will be mounted exclusively indoors in fixed locations (e.g. sanitizing

dispensers mounted inside restrooms).
