File Number: 0074-EX-ST-2006 Hello, The following information is submitted to comply with the requirements of 0.459(b) of the Rules: (1) On behalf of my client Fujitsu I request that the following information be withheld from routine public disclosure: File Description: Equipment and antenna summary File Name: Experiment desc.doc (2) This document was submitted as an attachment for the referenced STA application. (3) Disclosure of manufacturing source and other equipment information in the referenced document would reveal Fujitsu’s marketing strategy prematurely. (4) The equipment that Fujitsu will be testing during the experiment is for export only, primarily to the EU. The WiMax products are just now being released on the market by manufacturers based in the US, Europe, Asia, and elsewhere. (5) As this technology is new, there is a strong push by all competitors to be “first on board” with WiMax. Premature disclosure of on-going marketing and manufacturing negotiations would give a distinct advantage to any competitors. (6) The negotiations between Fujitsu and its potential supplier are on-going and remain corporate confidential. (7) This information has not been disclosed by Fujitsu except to the parties directly involved and they are keeping the information confidential. (8) The equipment will be installed at a trade show but the equipment manufacturer and model information will not be revealed. As such it is important this information is not available from other sources. (9) It is believed the above information is sufficient to grant confidentiality for the referenced information.
