ExxonMobil regularly experiments and explores for petroleum projects throughout the United
States on a continuous basis.

This experimental license is being used on a proprietary project to research geophysical methods
to find hydrocarbons. This experimental fieldwork, which began in the year 2000, will continue
for another five years. The different terrains and climates within the US are crucial to this project
to compile results.
