Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
Elbit Systems of America (ESA) will be testing a new radar that will ultimately be used for border security, air domain awareness, etc. This STA will allow us to test this radar and correct issues or improve performance.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  To test an X-band pulse doppler radar for accuracy, detection capability, and other performance criteria. These tests will be conducted against ground targets, sea surface targets, and air targets.
