Explanation
Please explain in the area below why an STA is necessary:
DeTect is under NASA contract to deliver a replacement wind profiler radar. Certain elements of the system must be tested for risk reduction and can be tested at 449MHz and at 915MHz. Identical frequencies and emissions have been employed previously at this location (WE2XJX). Prompt grant of this authorization will greatly assist the effort for NASA.
