A STA is necessary because the DOD has requested a demonstration. However, NASA has directed the flight be in either the PUR COA in eastern Oregon, or the Hays MOA in Montana.

Purpose of Operation
Please explain the purpose of operation:  The purpose of this operation is to test a data link that communicates from an Aircraft to Multiple Ground control stations, as well as remotely piloted air vehicles.
